Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across Ska Fabricating. Manage resources, schedules, teams and adhere to quality guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The Senior Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis in addition to the rest of the project management team. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits.

Logistics Coordinator – Shipping & Receiving

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for effectively and proactively managing and planning the day-to-day activities of logistics, shipping and receiving. This position will assist with a variety of the Buying, Project Management, and Production Team’s processes. A high sense of urgency, frequent and clear communication, and great organizational skills will make you a great candidate for this job! The ideal candidate will be able to think critically, be self-motivated, and process driven.

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the strong foundation the purchasing process is built on. As a Logistics Coordinator you will get the opportunity to learn the procurement process from purchase order creation to the product being received and sold to deliver at customer or production site.

  • Ship Product: Accept requests from onsite stakeholders, prepare items for transport, and ship using contracted services
    • Contact courier service suppliers and ensure product is delivered to appropriate destination at the right time
    • Responsible for Drop shipments and transportation mode of shipset orders
    • Manage drop ship and LTL orders including orders pending billing or fulfillment
    • Overcome roadblocks to ensure shipment is made in line with internal & external customers’ requirements to maintain on time Shipment for transportation
    • Work closely with Channel Partners and Warehouse, coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders and transportation teams
    • Able to work with shipping systems and records to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
    • Coordinate flight and truck schedules with internal freight forwarders or our customer’s designated freight forwarding company
    • Process FedEx, Fed-Ex Freight, UPS, DB Schenker, and DHL ground and air shipments
    • Prepare ALL documents (Domestic and International) for consolidation and calculate the value of duties and tariffs/ Prepare BOL for all outbound material
    • Accurately documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation
    • Maintains Weights and Dimensions list
  • Assist Purchasing and Project Management Team with the execution of purchase orders, special orders, expedites, and drop ship orders
    • Support the overages, shortages, and damages process while also working closely with  purchasing and production
    • Manage orders (Domestic and International), including expedite orders, drop-in orders, and “line down” orders, according to order availability, fill rate, ship date, and shipment routing
    • Help track Purchase Order flow including- trackers, inspection, packaging, production, shipping/delivery, and ETA’s
  • Sponsor Receiving of Materials: Enter receipt of product into database so invoices can be paid
    • Ensure parcels received are distributed internally to the intended recipient and move production material to the warehouse for put away or to the production floor when required
    • Assist with inventory cycle counting, material management activities
    • Help receive, unpack, and inspect for storage of all incoming materials and supplies
    • Help keep warehouse organized and ensure production material and non-production material is separate, identified, and able to be retrieved


  • 3 years shipping, receiving, and logistics experience.

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain modeling & simulation.

  • Familiarity with computers, scanners, and ERP systems

  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions closely, organize work area, and meet deadlines.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong communication skills and displays the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency with a Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with highly motivated team members.

  • International shipping experience is preferred.

  • As an Assembly Technician, you will work to:

    • Mechanical and electrical assembly of Automated Canning Systems.
    • Assemble components and complex subassemblies by following work instructions, utilizing tools prescribed, in adherence to quality standards.

Ska Fab Sales Engineers serve as the technical steam engine behind the sales team working with prospective customers, third-party vendors and partners to design the perfect packaging solution for our customers world-wide.

We are looking to hire someone to crate and ship our machinery. As a shipper/crate builder, you will be an integral part of a small, fast-paced, quality-driven team responsible for building crates for this packaging equipment, as well as packing all associated equipment and securing it inside the crate for shipping to meet production and customer demands. As a small company, all employees must be hands-on and able to wear multiple hats.     • Safely operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, nail guns, circular saws, etc.

Mechanical Engineer

The Product Manager – Mechanical Engineer will join a growing Engineering Group that is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the product lifecycle for new and existing products. The Product Manager’s primary responsibilities will include the design, development, testing, and documentation of new products.

  • Develop and maintain a formal Product Roadmap to define the long-term strategy for assigned products.
  • Communicate the Product Roadmap with Production, Sales, Marketing, and Project Management groups to ensure clear understanding of relevant timelines, product capabilities and limitations, and performance requirements.
  • Maintain product roadmap and associated priorities based on input/feedback from Sales, Marketing, Production, and Field Support teams as well as customer feedback and other market indicators.
  • Develop and design new products with careful consideration of both performance requirements and design for manufacture.
  • Analyze existing products for opportunities to improve performance, facilitate manufacturing and/or assembly, or part standardization across products, other product improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering team members to coordinate electrical, controls, and project layout requirements.
  • Communicate with Production Managers, Project Managers, and other engineers to establish timeline for new product fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Develop and maintain product related documentation including the Bill of Materials, Fabrication and Assembly Drawings and Operator Manuals.
  • Identify vendors and communicate design requirements to establish the supply chain for new product components.
  • Prepare and maintain the product Bill of Materials and associated costs as required to establish new product costs and complete make/buy analysis.
  • Assist with new product assembly and testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Professional experience using 3D modeling tools to design new parts and assemblies as well as associated documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings. Experience in Inventor preferred.
  • Working knowledge of common material properties and fabrication processes and associated capabilities and limitations for the fabrication of weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts.
