My name is Bert Boyce I’m the brewmaster here at Santa Fe Brewing Company I’ve been here about eight years you guys did most of the alliance integration most of the layout most of the engineering and helped to bring all the other vendors in and kind of served as as the general contractor sort of I don’t have an engineering staff so to me that was really important immediately getting me into engineering and starting to I think we went through like nine revisions of layouts all really helpful getting to see it walk it you guys came down right
away again.
It’s hopefully you’re only a couple hours up the road but people were here boots on the ground like from the beginning to the end really helpful I felt like I could call anyone on your team and that was important I wasn’t always funneled just through Alex I got a lot of phone numbers and to this day I still feel like I can call anyone there for help.
It’s night and day we used to run at 150 cans per minute we doubled the line speed to 300 cans a minute at the filler and then we had to completely redesign and install everything on the on the infeed and discharge sides 100 percent and so now we finally have proper staging integration of line speed controls all the way from front to back we’re not smashing hands into each other ultimately we’re we’re running at twice the speed and using about two-thirds of the footprint than we did in our old line.
So we have more room to grow we have more room for storage we’re gentler on the cans proper integration of conveyance like up and down the line is huge and we did not have that before we shouldn’t have but we didn’t but now we do and it’s so quiet and so gentle and we can’t start smashing into each other just gently walking down their way to the to the end of the line so it’s great we have room to grow hopefully we never have to do this project again but if we if we’d call you guys first
